Puolenkuun Pelit has been delivering games reliably and fast for nearly a decade. We pride ourselves on our high customer service standards and passion in all gaming. You may visit us during store opening hours or just give us a call or drop us an email.

We strive to fulfil all your requests and actively contact our customers in order to improve our service further.

After registering you may follow your order status in your account. After despatch we will email you with the order tracking numbers. Your customer information is solely used to deliver orders. You may also create a temporary account or order by phone or email.

Shipping notification will be emailed to you within 24h of despatch. You will be notified of the delivery date. Orders to be paid collected at your local post office will also come with a tracking number.

Pre-order products and items that are temporarily out of stock will be send out as soon as we have sufficient stock. Future release dates are subject to change, when possible we will deliver the games to you for the date of release. Prepaid orders will receive priority shipping on reservations lists.

You can easily order products as gifts by inputting a new delivery address at the checkout. You can also purchase gift vouchers that are valid both at our stores and online.

Pre-owned games and some of the products on display at the stores are not sealed. This does not however affect your right to return the product in any way. To minimise theft at our stores most product cases are displayed empty.

The online prices might differ from prices at the stores, you may always book a product for pickup from the store at the online price by adding €2 to the price.

Special Offers

For each order exceeding €25 you will receive an electronic stamp. Collect 10 stamps for €25 gift certificate

Spend over €50 in Games Workshop products and you will receive a gift voucher worth 10% of the order value. When completing your shipping details just let us know by filling in the box "liita tilaukseen huomatuksia" weather you would prefer a discount or additional free products.

Despatching orders

Products in stock will be shipped the same day. If the product is out of stock we strive to deliver it as soon as possible.

We restock daily from our suppliers and actively offer pre-owned games as alternative to fulfil your orders.

We will contact you either by telephone or email if the despatch is delayed for any reason.

Posted directly to your home. Pay by bank transfer, gift certificate or credit/debit car ad and your order will be despatched as soon as the system has registered your payment. Products that will fit your mailbox are delivered directly to your home (incl. DVD games and movies). Larger packages can be retrieved from your local post office.

We use 1st class postage for all our deliveries, so around 95% of orders are delivered the next day within Finland. For shipments abroad please contact us directly.

Pay at your local post office; The order is delivered to your nearest post office, who will send you a package notification. You can pickup and pay the order there and then. Post office requires us to add a €3 fee for this service to your order value.

Pickup from Puolenkuun Pelit, Lahti store only. Ordered products will be put aside for you to pickup. We will let you know by email or phone when the product is ready for pickup. The pickup fee of €2 does not apply to printed products, card- or board games or miniature games. We will reserve the products for 5 days.


We calculate the delivery fees as accurately as we can by using the automated postage fee calculator. Unfortunately, this is for finland only. The system will automatically add up the combined weight and size of your order and ensure that you pay the least possible postage.

€2,40 = Single DVD
€3,40 = Approximately 2-4 DVDs, small printed products
€5,40 = Books and small board games, most gadgets and controllers
€8,40 = Large shipments including big board games and racing controllers

Payment methods

Pay at your local post office: We deliver to the post office near you where you can pick up the items at your convenience. Post office charges an extra €3 for this service. (Osassa fileja toi summa on 3 ja osassa 3.20 mika on oikein?)

Bank transfer/cheques: You can pay the order directly to our bank account after the order. We will despatch the order as soon as the payment clears.
Online Banking: After confirming the order, go to automatic online banking service. We use PHP secure banking service that will direct your order straight into your own online bank. (Service available in Finland)
The benefit of online banking is that we will receive confirmation of your payment immediately and can therefore despatch the product the same day.

Paying by credit card: After confirming your order you may access the secure credit card service provided by Luottokunta. We do not store any credit card information in our system and all information is protected by 128-byte encoding. Your credit card will be debited after the order is despatched.

MasterCard, Visa, Visa Electron (Nordea, Sampo, OP). Check with you bank that your electron card has been registered for online-shopping.

Returns Policy

You may return all products within 14 days from delivery directly to the store or by mail. Puolenkuun Pelit pays the return postage in Finland when you let the post office know about the return.

If you don't want a replacement product for items returned we will refund your bank account within 7 days of receiving the relevant details.

We only accept returns of sealed products or returns at the condition they were delivered to you. All items must be in good conditions and all manuals and parts must be returned.

When returning by mail please attach documentation explaining reasons for return, order reference number and copy of the receipt you got with the delivery as well as your contact details. Add also your banking details if you don't want a replacement product.

If order is not cancelled prior to shipping by telephone or email you may be liable for the full shipping costs (MITA MITA?)

Warranties
All electronic items have manufacturers warranty (usually 1 year)
We always check the quality and operation of all our pre-owned games. We give pre-owned items a full 14-day operating guarantee

Rules and Regulations

For larger orders (over €200 you need to be over 18 or have consent from your guardian.)

All completed orders are binding; cancellations must be done prior to despatch.
You can notify us of cancellations by email or telephone.

Products that contain x-rated material are not to be purchased by underage people. These products are marked by the stamp from the Finnish authorities.

We happily deliver products abroad. Within EU the postage fees are mostly the same as in domestic shipments. Contact us for detailed quote, products are DDU.
